Meet the Owners!

Ally & MC’s story begins about 16 years ago in their freshman year of high school at St. Pius X in Pottstown, PA.  They met in homeroom and eventually became lab partners in chemistry. They embarked on a business adventure in college while MC attended St. Joe’s and Ally studied at Gwynedd Mercy. Those efforts were only a hint at what was to come years later when they launched Lessen the Loads.

In 2021, Ally had her third child and was drowning in all household tasks, with laundry becoming quite the hardship. She decided to hire someone from a local moms group to fold and put away her laundry. It was a life changer. Ally quickly realized this was a service that was sorely needed in her community. Out of a casual conversation between Ally and MC, Lessen the Loads was born and the rest is truly history!

MC is the organizational guru and laundry pro, and Ally is like a lot of our clients needing help - a perfect duo! Lessen the Loads currently serves 175+ families a month, most on a recurring weekly basis.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to be an integral part of our client’s homes and families. Our passion is in lessening the burden of the most time consuming household task and the mental load that comes with it. We strive to give people time to focus on the more important things in life.
